12+ Months Before Your Wedding Day

10-12 Months Before

❑ Shop for gown and accessories
❑ Select wedding party attendants
❑ Select attendants wedding attire

8-10 Months Before:

❑ Select Caterer if needed
❑ Select chair covers, linens, décor
    (Early Bird Specials for orders booked 9+ months in advance)
❑ Select Florist
❑ Select Musicians, DJ, and entertainment
❑ Select Photographer
❑ Select Videographer
❑ Select Bakery for wedding cake
❑ Select wedding ceremony music
❑ Select reception entertainment
❑ Shop for wedding rings
❑ Begin arrangements on honeymoon

6-8 Months Before:

❑ Order invitations, place card  and menu card stationary
❑ Register at several stores
❑ Reserve transportation 
❑ Finalize honeymoon plans - check passports/visas
❑ Notify groomsmen to send sizing information 
❑ Plan rehearsal dinner – don’t forget to reserve 
    additional linens and floral for rehearsal dinner

4-6 Months Before:

❑ Select stylist for hair and make-up
❑ Meet with florist to plan details
❑ Meet with photographer 
❑ Select party favors

2-4 Months Before:

❑ Meet with caterer/Hotel to discuss details
❑ Select vows for ceremony
❑ Arrange rehearsal dinner 
❑ Select bridesmaid and groomsmen gifts
❑ Address wedding invitations

1-2 Months Before:

❑ Schedule final gown fitting 
❑ Confirm approximate guest count and order extra rentals, linens, 
     flowers, etc. 
❑ Pick up marriage license
❑ Mail invitations
❑ Confirm ceremony and reception details 
❑ Assign day before and wedding day tasks 
❑ Confirm with photographer, musicians/dj, and videographer
❑ Select guest book, pen, toasting glasses, unity candle, cake knife and
    server, and flower girl/ring bearer accessories
❑ Pick up wedding rings with engraving
❑ Send thank you notes for gifts received

2 Weeks Before:

❑ Confirm final guest count to caterer/hotel.
❑ Schedule pre-wedding-day manicure/pedicure and treatments
❑ Confirm honeymoon plans
❑ Schedule hair styling appointment

1 Week Before:

❑ Make final contact with baker, linen company, caterer/hotel, florist, 
     musicians/dj, photographer, and videographer
❑ Final preparations for honeymoon (pack suitcases/traveler’s checks)
❑ Confirm wedding-day assignments with coordinator, family and friends

One Day Before:

❑ Pick up chair covers and all linen rentals or verify delivery/shipment. 
❑ Pick up tuxes/formal wear.
❑ Check wedding day apparel (see list below)

Wedding Day:

❑ Pay officiant’s fee 
❑ Give bride's ring and marriage license to best man 

After the event :

❑ Return the rentals, tuxes and cake stands and anything else rented.
