Advice to Save Money

With over 12 years' experience and servcie to the industry, we have planned many events and we have learned a few tricks along the way. As experts in the linen industry, we have provided some tips to help you enhance your even and save you money.

Tip No. 1

We are unique to the industry that we allow our customers to ship, pick up, set up and/or return themselves to save money. This can create a great savings as service fees can add up. We have noticed over the years, an increased number of do-it-yourself brides delegating responsibilities to friends, relatives and their event coordinators to get the job done and save significant money. This is one of the best ways to have a beautiful display and save money.

Tip No. 2

Most facilities provide you with a basic table linen and napkins. If you want to add more color to the table without having to replace their tablecloths and napkins, add an overlay or runner. For 75 cents per table you can rent a chair tie to lay across the table as a runner – adding a great deal of color and contrast. Another option is an overlay- you can pick any size to add a splash of color creating a dramatic impact to the tabletop.

Tip No. 3

"the early bird gets the worm!" Place your order early as we always offer early bird specials to customers than can place their orders 9 months to 2 years in advance. This also ensures availability as popular colors always book up quickly due our great prices.

Tip No. 4

Ship instead of delivery. With rising gas prices, we’ve noticed even local clients have begun to ship their orders rather than pick up. With such great shipping rates it can be a much better option. The bonus is you usually have the rentals for a longer period of time and they come right to your door or the event location. Shipped orders arrive 1-3 days prior to the event.

Tip No. 5

Take advantage of any internet specials posted on the web site. We have an entire page devoted to specials. The specials are still subject to availability – so reserve early to cash in.

Tip No. 6

The most economical way to add your color to the reception (besides the table runner – mentioned earlier) is to rent the colored chair ties. With 10 chairs at a table, for $5 per table you can add an organza bow in your color on all of the chairs.

Tip No. 7

For the biggest color impact on a room – use colored tablecloths or colored chair covers. This just comes down to square footage of colored material used and adds the most color without changing the carpet, walls or lighting.

Tip No. 8

White items tend to be more reasonably priced than custom colors and a lot easier to match. Watch out for our $2 special occasionally offered (full white banquet chair cover with a matching white tie).

Tip No. 9

If you have one of those hard to match colors, send us a swatch and we can try to match it. Use a custom colored overlay in your unique color to make a big color splash and use complementing colors for all other items to add contrast and contain costs.

Tip No. 10

If full chair covers and sashes is not within your budget - use a chiffon sash to wrap the top of the chairs in lieu of a chair cover. This equates to 75 cents a chair.

Tip No. 11

To save additional money and achieve the elegance of floor-length tablecloths or high end linens, ask our reps if any damaged linens are available for rent at a reduced price. Sprinkle rose petals, use overlays or runners to any cover any damage.
